Matthew 10:27

Scripture: Matthew 10:27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach upon the housetops.

Observation: Short and simple today... God's message is meant to be shared.

Application: I started this blog a while back, but at some point in time, I listened to the prompting of man and began to question whether or not God's messages were meant to be shared. Praise the Lord for verses like these... God may speak to my heart through His word, through the words of a song or through the words of a friend... and He can use my words to speak to another. As I write this posts, I pray and ask God to show me the wisdom that He would have shared... that he would have spoken in the light and preached from the housetops... (And no... I don't believe women should preach....)

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I know that You can use anything to touch hearts, and I pray that you would see fit to take my stumbling words and use them to encourage and edify my brothers and sisters in Christ. I know Lord, that there have been many days that I wasted the chance to encourage another because I was too wrapped up in myself... and Lord, I ask You for forgiveness, and for another chance to share those things that You have taught me. Please help me to keep my eyes on You rather than on what is going on around me, and please help me to take advantage of every opportunity to share Your precious Word with others. Thank you for those that took the time and the opportunity to share it with me. I pray that You would send them a special, needed blessing today. In Jesus name, Amen.
