1 Kings 22:34

Scripture: 1 kings 22:34 And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of the chariot, Turn think hand and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.

Observation: It didn't take a mighty man to be used according to God's will. Only someone who was in the right place, at the right time. A certain man, fighting a battle, did his best in the  situation, and it was used of God to accomplish His will.

Application: No matter what is going on in your life, how great or how small of a battle you are facing, God can and will use it. The bible never says who this man was, only that he was used by God to bring the prophet's words to pass. No one may ever recognize your deeds, no one may ever even know your name... but God is waiting to use you to fulfill His plan.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, Help me to be sensitive to Your prompting. Help me to listen to the Holy Spirit and to follow the path You are leading me down. I want You to use my life to complete Your plans, and I do ask Lord, that you allow me to be like this certain man... unknown and unrecognized, that You would get all the glory that is rightfully Yours. In Jesus name, Amen.
